These cards are a lovely boon to the businessmen who are always traveling using airlines. This credit card has a very particular feature in its services. When a customer uses this card he/ she gets free air miles let us see how this works. When a customer avails of such a credit card they are given a distinct card now whenever the customer uses the credit card for any reason be it buying coffee, paying for home utility bills or even groceries the customer is awarded some points. These points are points, which can be redeemed for a free airline ticket. For example, you are awarded 1000 points after you have made a purchase you can either accumulate the points or then get all the airline travel for free or you may redeem these points with a free airline ticket.
Many businessmen use such types of cards as this helps them to avail free airline travel. There are a few people who also take these types of cards because of its extra ordinary features. These cards are normally offered by major banks that offer such services to only a few eligible ones and not all customers. To avail of this card one must be able to show that you travel many a times through the air lines and also you should have a very neat credit history. If either of the two is missing then there are most likely chances that you won’t receive the credit card and his/ her application may go in vain.
This service is not given free of charge there is a small annual fee which is charged and that fees is what the customer may have to bear and the fees charged by different banks are also different and also the interest rates on these cards are a bit higher than the regular/ basic credit cards. The customer can use the credit card provided to him/ her in the same manner that a basic card would be used in the main difference is that the credit limit is very high and also the extra ordinary redeemable feature.
The customer at times may complain that the card has been used at many a times but the points received are very less in order to avoid this confusion the applicant should always read the terms and conditions of the credit card provider so that it is very clear that the customer may need to spend an approximate amount to avail of those many points that the customer is looking forward for. Normally it is seen that this card is in majority use with people who are always on the move. If a basic credit card user may apply for this type of service it may take him/ her a very long period to avail of sufficient points to travel free in the air lines. The points cannot be redeemed for anything else apart from airline tickets. Such cards are not beneficial for the layman but those who are frequent fliers vouch for such cards because of the ongoing discounts they are eligible for.
